Terms & Conditions

International Graduates Network for Innovation and Technical Education (IGNITE)
Effective Date: 2 October 2026

Welcome to the International Graduates Network for Innovation and Technical Education (“IGNITE”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Terms & Conditions govern registration, membership, participation in IGNITE programs, use of the IGNITE website and related services, and engagement with opportunities, institutions, partners and other members through the IGNITE platform.

By registering with or using IGNITE, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable Privacy Policy.

1. About IGNITE

IGNITE is envisioned as a professional and educational network connecting graduates, students, educational institutions, professionals, organisations and responsible corporate/CSR partners for purposes including education, professional networking, skill development, scholarships, employment-related opportunities, mentoring, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, institutional development, CSR initiatives and social impact.

IGNITE may introduce, modify, expand or discontinue programs and services as the platform develops.

2. Registration Categories

IGNITE currently provides the following registration categories:

Graduate — for graduates and persons holding higher educational qualifications.

Student — for students interested in education, scholarships, skills, career development and related opportunities.

Institution — for schools, colleges, universities, tutorials, coaching centres, training institutions and other eligible educational organisations.

CSR Partner — for companies, organisations and other entities interested in education, skill development, social-impact and CSR-related collaboration.

IGNITE may introduce additional categories or revise existing categories in the future.

3. Referral and Direct Registration

Graduate and Student registrations require a valid existing IGNITE member referral, including a valid Membership ID and matching registered referrer information.

Institution and CSR Partner registrations may be made directly and do not require an existing IGNITE member referral.

Successful submission of a registration form does not constitute independent verification, endorsement or certification of the applicant or information submitted.

4. Membership ID

Where registration is successfully completed, IGNITE may generate a unique Membership ID or registration identifier.

The Membership ID is intended to identify the registered member or entity within the IGNITE system.

Members should retain their Membership ID securely and should not permit its fraudulent or misleading use.

A Membership ID:

  • is not a government-issued identification number;
  • is not an academic qualification or professional licence;
  • does not establish employment, admission, scholarship or funding entitlement;
  • does not represent independent verification of every detail submitted by the member; and
  • remains subject to IGNITE's applicable membership and platform rules.

5. Accuracy of Information

Applicants and members are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to IGNITE is accurate, complete and not misleading.

Users must not knowingly submit:

  • false identity information;
  • fabricated educational or professional qualifications;
  • altered or fraudulent documents;
  • false institutional or company information;
  • another person's information without appropriate authority; or
  • misleading information intended to obtain an improper benefit.

IGNITE may seek clarification or supporting documentation where reasonably necessary.

6. Documents and Verification

Educational certificates and other documents uploaded to IGNITE are initially recorded as self-declared/not independently verified, unless IGNITE subsequently performs and expressly confirms verification.

Technical acceptance of an uploaded document does not constitute authentication, accreditation, recognition or certification by IGNITE.

IGNITE may introduce document-verification procedures for particular programs or opportunities.

7. Membership and Participation

Registration or membership does not automatically entitle a person or organisation to participate in every IGNITE program, opportunity, partnership or benefit.

Certain activities may have separate:

  • eligibility criteria;
  • applications;
  • documentation requirements;
  • selection procedures;
  • fees, where specifically disclosed;
  • partner requirements; or
  • additional terms.

Participation may therefore depend upon the requirements of the particular activity.

8. Scholarships, Employment and Professional Opportunities

IGNITE may publish, communicate, facilitate or connect members with scholarships, internships, employment, mentoring, professional, educational, entrepreneurial or other opportunities.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, IGNITE does not guarantee:

  • scholarship approval;
  • admission;
  • employment or placement;
  • internship selection;
  • remuneration;
  • business transactions;
  • investment;
  • professional engagement; or
  • any particular outcome from an opportunity.

Users are responsible for independently evaluating opportunities before making material decisions or commitments.

9. Institutions and CSR Support

Educational institutions may indicate requirements relating to infrastructure, education, student development, skills, institutional development or CSR support.

Where an institution seeks CSR assistance, IGNITE may require additional information, declarations, project details, proposed utilisation of funds, budgets, supporting documentation and/or an authorised request on the institution's official letterhead.

Submission of a CSR requirement does not guarantee funding.

CSR Partners may independently determine whether to consider, evaluate, approve, reject, modify or support any proposed initiative, subject to their own policies and applicable law.

IGNITE may facilitate communication and coordination but does not guarantee completion of any CSR arrangement.

10. Student Scholarship Interest

Students may indicate whether they are interested in scholarship opportunities and whether IGNITE or its authorised team may contact them regarding relevant opportunities.

Expressing interest does not constitute a scholarship application unless a particular scholarship program expressly states otherwise.

Scholarship eligibility, selection and award may be determined separately by IGNITE, an educational institution, donor, CSR partner, foundation or other sponsoring organisation.

11. Professional Network and Member Conduct

Members using IGNITE's present or future professional-networking features must act responsibly and professionally.

Users must not use IGNITE to:

  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • submit fraudulent information;
  • harass, threaten or abuse others;
  • publish unlawful, defamatory or intentionally misleading material;
  • distribute spam or unsolicited bulk communications;
  • promote scams or fraudulent financial arrangements;
  • interfere with website or system security;
  • attempt unauthorised access to data or accounts;
  • upload malicious software or harmful content; or
  • use IGNITE for activities prohibited by applicable law.

IGNITE may moderate or remove content and restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform or its users.

12. Referrals

Where referral-based registration applies, the referring member should provide or permit the use of their Membership ID only for genuine referrals.

A referral confirms the registration connection required by the IGNITE system. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it does not mean that the referring member legally guarantees every statement, qualification, document or subsequent action of the applicant.

Misuse of Membership IDs or systematic fraudulent referrals may result in restrictions or suspension.

13. Communications

IGNITE may send essential communications relating to registration, Membership IDs, security, account or membership administration and programs in which a user participates.

Consent for broader IGNITE communications, updates and opportunities may be collected separately where appropriate.

14. Privacy

Personal information submitted through IGNITE will be handled in accordance with the IGNITE Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.

Users should provide only information reasonably required by the applicable registration or program.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the IGNITE name, branding, website design, original content, program materials and other proprietary material belong to IGNITE or their respective lawful owners.

Registration does not grant members ownership of IGNITE intellectual property.

Users must not falsely represent themselves as authorised representatives of IGNITE or use IGNITE branding in a misleading manner.

16. User-Submitted Content

Where users submit content, ideas, opportunities, requirements, documents or other materials, they confirm that they have the right or authority to submit such material.

Users remain responsible for their submissions.

Where reasonably necessary to operate an IGNITE service or program, the user permits IGNITE to process, display, transmit or otherwise use submitted material for that relevant purpose, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

IGNITE may use or link to third-party platforms, institutions, service providers and websites.

Third parties operate under their own terms, policies and practices.

The presence of a link, opportunity or organisation on IGNITE should not automatically be interpreted as an endorsement or guarantee unless IGNITE expressly states otherwise.

18. Fees

IGNITE membership registration is currently presented as free.

Specific future courses, certifications, events, services or programs may carry fees where expressly disclosed before participation.

Any such fee should be communicated separately and does not retrospectively change the free-registration status of ordinary IGNITE membership.

19. Suspension or Cancellation

IGNITE may restrict, suspend or cancel a membership, registration or platform access where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

  • fraudulent or materially inaccurate information;
  • misuse of Membership IDs;
  • forged or manipulated documents;
  • unlawful conduct;
  • serious violation of these Terms;
  • abuse of other members;
  • misuse of the IGNITE platform or brand; or
  • conduct materially threatening the integrity or security of IGNITE.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, IGNITE may seek clarification before taking final action.

20. Availability of Services

IGNITE is under progressive development.

Features described on the website, including member login, professional networking, courses, scholarships, institutional collaboration and other services, may be introduced in phases.

IGNITE does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the website or any particular feature.

21. Limitation of Responsibility

IGNITE aims to facilitate meaningful educational, professional and social-impact connections.

However, users remain responsible for evaluating third parties, opportunities, transactions and commitments before acting upon them.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IGNITE is not responsible for losses arising solely from independent dealings between users and third parties where IGNITE has merely facilitated an introduction or provided information and has not expressly assumed responsibility for the transaction.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

22. Changes to These Terms

IGNITE may update these Terms & Conditions as its platform, programs, operational requirements or applicable laws evolve.

Material changes may be reflected through an updated effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice.

Continued use of relevant services following an applicable update may be subject to the revised terms.

23. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in India.

Subject to applicable law and any mandatory jurisdictional requirements, disputes concerning IGNITE may be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
